friendslist.de is an event calendar for Berlin. We publish dates, arrange places on the Friendslist (our name for an event's guest list) and link to ticket shops. The contract for the event is always between you and the promoter or club, never with us.

A place on the Friendslist is not a guarantee of entry. The club's door team always decides. Bring an ID and respect the deadline and minimum age.

Tickets are sold via external providers such as Eventbrite or Resident Advisor. Their terms apply to purchase, payment, cancellation and refunds.

Anyone submitting an event confirms the details are correct and that they hold the rights to any uploaded images and texts. We reserve the right to reject or unpublish submissions without stating reasons.

Promoters can pay to have a submitted event highlighted: 'Highlight event' for €50 or 'Premium event' for €95, each a one-off per event. Prices without VAT – as a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act we do not charge VAT. The offer is aimed at businesses within the meaning of § 14 of the German Civil Code.

Bookings are made in the promoter area. A booking is an order which we invoice; the highlight is activated once payment has been received. As long as it has not been activated, the booking can be withdrawn free of charge in the promoter area.

'Highlight event' means the event appears at the top of its day's list and is visually set apart on the event date. 'Premium event' additionally includes its own box on the homepage and in the day's programme, likewise on the event date. The highlight runs until the event is over.

Paid placements are labelled as advertising on the site. Highlighting only affects placement – not whether we list an event, and not what its description says. We do not promise any particular number of views, clicks or Friendslist sign-ups.

If the promoter cancels or withdraws the event, the amount is not refunded. If we take a paid event offline for reasons the promoter is not responsible for, we refund the amount.
