As soon as it gets warm, Berlin nightlife moves outdoors, mostly to the water: Sisyphos in Rummelsburg with beach, hangar and winter garden, Club der Visionaere on its wooden deck at the Flutgraben, Else on the Spree bank with fire pits, Birgit and ÆDEN on the Schleusenufer, IPSE with its garden at the Flutgraben, Kater on Holzmarktstraße with an open-air area, YAAM at Stralauer Platz. On the roofs: Klunkerkranich above the Neukölln Arcaden and Deck5 on a parking deck in Prenzlauer Berg.
Open airs start in the afternoon, often around midday, and many wind down when the neighbourhood needs quiet; then it moves inside or stops. That is why the start time is always listed. Rain cancels some; the calendar is updated daily, so check again on the day. Friendslists are rarer at open airs than at club nights, and usually come with an early deadline. In winter the list gets short; the genres are the quicker way in.
