One is the techno axis along Köpenicker Straße and the Spree: Tresor in a former power station, Ohm and the vast Kraftwerk Berlin next door, KitKatClub with its own dress code, Kater on Holzmarktstraße, Golden Gate under the S-Bahn arches at Jannowitzbrücke, Fitzroy looking out to the river. The other is the centre: Bricks in the vaults near Gendarmenmarkt, House of Weekend in a high-rise at Alexanderplatz, AMT in the railway arches at Alex and Clärchens Ballhaus for dance nights since 1913.
