Lichtenberg has few addresses, but they carry weight. Sisyphos in the former dog biscuit factory in Rummelsburg is known for weekend open airs across beach, hangar and winter garden. Behind Ostkreuz, two clubs sit side by side on Wiesenweg: OXI with techno and niche electronic sounds, and Void, a dark underground club focused on hard techno. Add Hafenküche on the Rummelsburger Bucht, a beer and wine garden by the water, and Museum Kesselhaus Herzberge, an unusual venue for concerts and festivals.
OXI and Void are reached via Ostkreuz (Ringbahn and most S-Bahn lines heading east); for Sisyphos take the S3 to Rummelsburg and walk a few minutes along Hauptstraße. The area is industrial estates and water, dark at night: go in pairs and with a charged phone. Friendslists are the exception at these clubs; what counts is the door.
